On Time policy
Appointment length will not be extended due to late arrival. We are happy to mail or email patient forms to you if you are unable to download them from your portal. You may fill forms out at your convenience before your first appointment. We request patient forms to be filled out and submitted 24 hours prior to your consultation. This enables the practitioner to maximize her time with you.
Payment of services and natural pharmacy items is expected at the time of visit. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover)
There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours will be charged half the appointment fee regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Thermography Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) 20% deposit will be held with cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours. This is refundable if cancelled prior to 24 hours.
This also applies to No-Shows (not appearing for your appointment), if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged half the cost of the visit.
Personal emergencies will be given reasonable courtesy consideration. This is at the discretion of the doctor.

Nature Care Wellness strongly believes in working directly for our patients and not working for insurance companies. Because of this, we are not working “in-network” with any insurance. Our patients who have out-of-network coverage do get reimbursed by their health insurance provider.
We will be happy to provide you with an itemized superbill receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider. If your plan covers acupuncture and/or other services your insurance provider will reimburse you directly. It is up to you to know the extent of your insurance coverage as it pertains to acupuncture/other services.
For laboratory work, in general most insurances will completely cover our referrals to your PCP/Specialist. Please check with your insurance and individual plan if this applies to you.
Thermography Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) may be covered, please check your private insurance prior to making your appointment. A detailed superbill with the indicated CPT code will be provided to you at your request. A 20% deposit of total DITI cost is required at the time of appointment confirmation. This is refundable if cancelled prior to 24 hours. If you are uninsured or if your insurance does not cover DITI, the United Breast Cancer Foundation will cover all or a portion of the cost. Please apply online at UBCF.info to get up to $150.00 based on financial need. Patients are encouraged to fill out a one page application on their website even if you feel you would not receive any funds. Please follow up with them once you are approved and check with them periodically.
